asphault guys

i've been thinkin about doing some asphault drag racing just for fun with a few buddies. The track close to me is a NHRA track so i must meet NHRA guidelines.

 

my question is how are you guys doing your chain guards? i have a chrome swingarm and i dont want to weld tabs to it just for the chain guard. Any suggestions? I;f you can post up some pics of your setups.

The set-up on my sig is bolted to the arm,I made it with diamond plate and a brake,my old set-up like tony said bolts onto the back slider.I bought a peice of aluminum angle cut the front on an angle bolted it to the top chain roller hole,got it to the height I wanted made a flat bracket off rear slide up to peice of angle and bolted it together,with that set-up I had to strut the rear

NYUK Is that an outboard bearing support? Where did you get it? The only one that I have seen was from packard. Are those grand river pipes?

yes grr pipes. bearing support was from chuck wilburn. chariot makes them also.
