njbanshee
Ok, so a guy I know wants to build a sleeper drag bike. His idea is to copy the internals of a cub into a set of stock juggs. I don't think its possibly, or everyone would do it. I hope this isn't too stupid.

It could be done I think, with a lot of welding and a lot of money
NYUK
just spray paint the cubs black and use a cut stock head. you cannot match the ports on a cub to stock cylinders. stock cylinders are only so capable.
banshee332
I think it could be done. just needs alot of welding

BansheeDan
If the power from a cub cant be replicated in stock cylinders, how come I hear quite a bit that stock cyl motors can and have beat up on cubs pretty bad? Dan

njbanshee
NYUK, and banshee332, can explain in more detail? What would you be welding? Why can't you match the ports?
banshee332
first thing you would be welding is the transfers area you would have to weld it up for 3 transfers on each side, then you would have to add the triple ports, then the worm hole's.... People have sleeved cubs already. I know a builder that did some pretty trick stuff to a t-rex motor something like what we are talking about right now. locogato11283
youre talking a whole lot of time and money to get stock cylinders to run like cubs. they will have to be triple ported and also have boost ports put in, which require welding. waste of time and money if you ask me. buy cubs and paint them black. I agree loco, but they where asking if it could be done. Im almost 100% sure it can be done but your looking atleast 800 bucks a cylinder plus another problem is the cooling factor.. would be pretty bad ass though for a 4mill stock cylinder whooping on cubs
kawiking
true , get some cubs and paint them ... lol i hear about these people wantin to do a sleeper look... but when u throw a big ass carb and a long swingarm .. ur sleeper look is out the window. even a tripple ported stock cyln bike.. with big carbs, swingarm , a set of shears or cpi's and alot of paddles ... is not a sleeper bike. if he's wantin a short swing , under paddle , little carbs for a sleeper look... than he's waistn his $$ on big cylns. i think alot of people agree, u can tell a "drag bike" in the first 5 min of lookin it over .
