toolucky
Is it crucial to use cylinder allignment dowels when installing a Cheetah cylinder? I would think the stud extenders would be enough but im not sure
Powerstroke
Why take the chance. The dowels are cheap and even our little dealer stocks them.
2001Stroker
Yes. I just got the same cylinder in the mail last week. The 4 inner dowels are a little tight at first, but they do loosen up a little. The stud extenders are just a little extra to keep it aligned. Use all 6. sleeper06
Use all if possible but,I built a cub over a year ago that one of the dowels was mangled into the case,I machined it flat with the case and used the rest. The guy I built it for abuses it daily with no problem
