liveordie72089 Posted March 8, 2009 Report Posted March 8, 2009 Ok my rear brake was starting to lock up and came to notice that my whole rear rotor is bent which is causing it to stick. So now I am trying to get a rear brake rotor for a 88 Shee. What do you all suggest that has been a good rotor to you all? Are the ones on ebay any good or are they just for a show purpose lol? Quote

FireHead Posted March 10, 2009 Report Posted March 10, 2009 JD's look nice, but I am afraid that the Galfer rotors are better............. though they are much more expensive. :geek: Quote

VWMIKE Posted March 12, 2009 Report Posted March 12, 2009 (edited) These ones are good too http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Rear-Brake-...sQ5fAccessories Bought one from thie guy, and a G force, good price, fast shipping. Been running one about 6 months now, mostly in the sand, no rust yet, and seems to self clean well. Mike Edited March 12, 2009 by VWMIKE Quote

The material and heat treatment of the material probably differs between the two, but the greater difference in my mind is the blanchard grinding of the Galfer rotors after they have been cut and milled. :geek: Quote
grizzly700 Posted March 12, 2009 Report Posted March 12, 2009 ok i had to google blanchard grinding but i got u now. thanks Quote
