banshees suck... are only good for drag racing...

save your self the time and 4 and dont ever buy a banshee...please....

...lol.... i can do anything on my banshee that any-other bike can do... i been in deep mud trails track...you name it...

i enjoy working my clutch and spin my tires out... with the right setup you will be more then happy...a good set of +2 or +3 arms and shocks... dont cheap out on the a arms also... i did and wound of stil spending more money in the long run...

r/m atv sells a +2 axle called the gforce which is 200 shipped... lifetime warranty...

good a arms are 500 give or take...200 for axle and anywhere from 200-1200 depending on what kind of shocks you want....

that will be good for suspension... basic motor mods are pipes KnN filter and jet the bike...

this should keep anyone more then happy for a while

sled speedometers aren't terribly accurate even if you're on dragtrack or hard surface. they can be way out due to slippage and calibration issues. radar and gps are the most accurate. i'm not trying to say you guys didnt hit those speeds cause i know its possible. i've been putting on 1500 to 3000 miles a year (depending on the snow levels) for over 20 years and you're right about duplicating the rush of a 2 stroke sled. its just not the same on a four stroke (snow or otherwise). they're great on groomed trails but tossing around one of those front end heavy 4 strokes in deep snow all day is like wrestling a bear. what else can i say, powerband is meant to be delivered, NOW. thats the same reason i bought a banshee and not something else. easy to mod, cheap to rebuild, and tons of available parts.

yah ive had problems with that in the past. so what i did this time was use my gps and got the reading it was mor of 114.67 but if you round it up 115. sue me. but i know thats what im saying "NOW. thats the same reason i bought a banshee and not something else. easy to mod, cheap to rebuild, and tons of available parts." it is also a fast mtf and love the power it has. and yah in an audi r8. how come you enfasized on the an. you think im lying. the same kid has a acura integra with a swap runing a a t88 turbo and is about to put nos on it. not to mentchin all the other work done to the car. he could aford more than an audi r8. oo but the down side is he is buming off his dad and never really made the money him self. i hat rich kidz

If you're only looking at a raptor vs. a banshee, a banshee is the way to go. If you do alot of track riding and want to actually race and be competitive you're going to want a 450. The opinions here are definitely biased being a banshee website, but you need to ride both bikes and make a decision on your own. There are a few guys on here who mx banshees and you might be able to set one up for less money than a 450. I trail ride a banshee because I enjoy riding them and two strokes in general but I am way faster on a 450 and you are not going to find any competitive racers on a banshee because 450's are easier to ride and better suited for a track.

no need to be a dick but i hit 115 with a artic cat wildcat

Well I would hope so, your Wildcat is a 700, I have a stock 600 oh and just wondering was that your top speed???LIke I said it was in 660' not balls out across a field or lake for a mile. No that wasnt the dreamometer that was GPS. The owner of the GPS had a ZR900 that was all moded and he only did 108 in 660 feet. Its all about being quick not fast for me.

is that an imp/stock or prostock 600 drag sled you have? the speed seems a bit "optimistic" for a trail sled.
