payupsucka
Ok look im gonna say this. A banshee can be ridin anywhere. A stock banshee can beat a stock raptor two. A banshhe can be modded in any way thinkable. YES U CAN RIDE them on Tracks like THAT. All banshee is is acceleration. Thats all they want to do is go fast. They hate to go slow. You can buy a banshee with plenty of upgrades like crazy fast ones for 5 grand or below. about the same as a stock raptor. BANSHEE WILL NEVER BE OUTDATED. WHY DO YOU THINK THEY HAVE BEEN HERE FOR SO MANY YEARS AND THEY HAVENT CHANGED A THING. ITS BECAUSE OF THE RAW POWER AQ BANSHEE HAS. THERE IS NOTHING LIKE A 2 STROKE. But thats just me. ferrari4756
thanks everyone!! yeah i didnt think a stock raptor would lose to a stock banshee. but dude, a bayou?? I had one of them for about a year (i had a lot of quads) and i didnt like it at all. its not even for racing....is it? I think I am going for the banshee because it seems like the best bang for your buck. ONe just sold on ebay with a pretty good amount of ups for 1500!! do you guys know of any other quads that are best bag for your buck under 2000? R. Rollins
You may consider all of this. I waited all my adult life to finally own a Banshee. When I could finally buy a quad, I purposefully went out and Bought a Brand new one last year right out of the crate. It is older technology. The suspension feels great on my old ass. I dont race professionally , but Ive rode every sort of trails and dessert that I could get to around the Rocky Mountains up to 11,500 feet and down at sea level in the Yuma Dessert. I have recently taken a trip and rode it through the woods in Alexandria, Louisiana as well. I never had any problems and had a blast throwing dirt on the people behind me....lolol I guess your over analyzing it all. This Banshee thing is a passion..... You can see by all the super modded drag bikes, the dunners and the mudder bikes that Banshees are made into. Parts will be here for another 30 plus years as they made only a couple of changes as mentioned above for all the production years. (endless parts supply,,,,forever) They look Bad ass period. They scream at you and not burp at you when riding by others. Its pure thrill period. If simple is what you want, buy a YFZ-450 or Rapter. If special is what you want, build it yourself. My 5 cents worth..... Edited March 9, 2009 by R. Rollins

krss144
I have grown up on sleds my whole life and this past winter I purchased my first quad and of course its a Banshee. Why???? To be perfectly honest I have ridden other 660's,700s,350s, quads and honestly nothing compairs to my sled, if I am going to buy a toy it better be able to move. My sled will hit 101mph in 660' (GPSed on Hess Lake, MI), thats pretty good for a 600 twin. So my point is I bought a shee cause I knew that will meet my needs of the need for speed. I also love pulling up to guys on the trails or open fields and they have there 700, 800, or even 900's and you give them a run for there money or even beat them with a smaller toy. When you pull up with a Banshee everyone knows that you aint messin around...and is thinking OH SHIT!!!
