no thank god it just snapped and flew out the back without hurting anything

Come to think about it, I made a shield for my pod filters so that the chain wax/oil wouldn't dirty up my outerwares, and welded it to the frame crossmember underneath the filters. One day my chain snapped off and the chain just went through with no problems at all. The shield actually took most of the whip and fed the chain through the front sprocket and actually saved my cases. I guess I just got lucky that day.

so i figured id let everyone know, rocky mountain just emailed me back aftter i emailed them a pic over the weekend with an explanation asking if they could send me a new one... the head of their customer service "valerie" , who ive dealt with before, is always extremely nice, and said they would send me a new one, for free, as soon as they received my old one in the mail, not bad if you ask me. maybe $5-6 postage to mail them my old one, and i get a new one in return... thats tough to beat, gota love rocky mountain!
