flyRTby
I'm not getting bet outta shape over pipes. I know anythings gonna kick ass compared to stockers.. and I'm not relying on my pipes to give me ALL my power. Like i said, when i go through the Bikes Frame, and Motor after this season. I'll most likely go with some Pro-Lites that will wake up my Mid and Low end. My top end, i feel, is already ridiculous. So to find a pipe that helps me out low to mid end while also giving me a little extra top end.. would be ideal. I love the way Toomeys sound, look and perform from riding my buddies bike. But he didn't have a choice with his pipes. His CAME with a set of T5's. That's where i have the chance of being a step above his shee when it comes to drag racing. I was told the Power Core II's arent state land(silver lake) friendly. Can anyone back that up?? If it is true, that Power Core II's arent silver lake friendly and i run the SST's or the Gold's, what silencers do i run? I'd hate to drop all this money on pipes then not be able to run em at the dunes, the first time i go out.
Dick Wheels
If your only real mods are planning on being a timing plate, exhaust and maybe some slightly bigger carbs then I would go with the paul turner mid or high's or even the pro circuit's. See since you seem to do a bunch of different riding I think those pipes are going to be able to give you the best of both worlds to make you happy

Same as the PC2's, just spark arrested. I can vouche for the FMF SST's and PC2's. They pull hard. Any pipe that you get isn't really going to help the bottom end too much anyways. It's a 2-stroke without powervalves. It's going to have a hard hitting power band. The FMF's that I had pulled great off idle too. Just don't expect anything extravigant with a set of pipes, for bottom end power. Ain't going to happen, unless you get a power valved motor. FMF SST's with PC2 how do they stand up against a Toomey T5's with the same mods ill be doing? Also Paul Turner High Revs. Where do those compare to a Toomey T5's And because i don't plan on porting any time soon.. would i be better off with T6's? magz
I run ssts. No problems with them and definitely noticeable power gain all the way thru my t6's on my bike are for sale, they've been wonderfull pipes!, i have some vids of me on the video section out running raptor 700's kfx700 and a 450ltr, along with some small 400ex theres also freshly shined up since i had them off the bike during powdercoating. t6's are a great low to mid pipe for someone who doesnt have plans on porting, im running my with porting and am having great success aswell. just my .
grizzly700
i would try to buy magz's pipes if u arent planning on porting. also he said he is ported and they work great still for him. and they look mint from his sig. he seems like a good guy. prolly give u a good deal. i dont how t-6's sound but i love my t-5s on the top end. also wen i switched to t-5's from gold series FMF i noticed no lose of bottom with a big jump in top end! which is pretty mcuh what i was looking for. my mods are: t-5's +4 timming vforce 2's pods 28mm pwk
dragbanshee
Don't know where you heard that toomey's were junk either, but it must have definately been someone that doesn't know Jack Schitt, lol, read my post in humor section. Anyway I have the t5s with bolt ons and they kickass! low end, midrange and topend. You get that bike jetted properly and throw on some more bolt ons and the t5s WILL perform. I know for a fact that the t6s perform well on a pretty much stock bike, my 03 ran great, more low end grunt I think, than top end. just my .

NickisGod
i personaly love the look of paul turner pipes, i owned a set of t-6 pipes and sold them to buy a set of mid range pipes. if i had more money i would of bought the high revs but the seasons dawning on me and im to broke right now to dish out the 900 for a brand new set. i had the husg kit on my shee when i bought it and removed it after a few runs, and had no noticeable increase. maybe its because im a speed freak and cant feel a difference between 85 and 87 mph. toomeys are good pipes hands down but untill i get my ptrs this week im not going to lay down my opinions as to what pipe is better.
