JasonsBanshee
Wow! That is stepping up in a major way! REALLY appreciated! Hitting even $2000 would be just beyond my expectations, but would be GREAT because we have 2 businesses on board that will match what we raise at Haspin (my aunts work, and the triple A ball team in indy) So, we're really excited!! Looks like we will have a decent auction after all!! We'd have to vote on the 2 drag classes.....thats up to the members who are putting the $20 up. I'm going to do a conformation thread and etc in the next week or so with a detailed schedule of events, and etc...members can vote in there. +2 way to step up man! AWR
might have too back out on ride but will get domes too jason before the 15th.oldest boy was riding bike fright night and the water pump impeller broke seizing brand new motor and crank!!i have lots of parts and may be able to piece something together to ride.just don't know if i have a decent crank.i am working on a freinds bike and he told me just to take his crank but his motor has a broken piston so it's probably trash!my wife would shit an entire buffalo if i bought a new crank the way work is.i will find out tonight...peace Edited April 25, 2009 by AWR
sheerider1026
Break out the boots the shits getting deep in here . I know you have that thing dialed in. The thing about a stock jug class. Your blue bike with the 2 in 1 and wooley boogers...might clean up to. no shit here.. lol. its dialed in somewhat.. maybe i should just bring the blue bike? or both? i'll be using some new 4snows on the cub with a +2 swinger.. not sure how it will hook. sheerider1026
ok heres the deal.. how many other guys will be bringing afermarket cylindered bikes?? will i be the only one?? i was thinking more of starting about 2 or 3 bike lengths behind to make it more fair?? i would definately go for that. but if there are no rules, i'd be starting side by side?? its really a turd. dragbanshee
I guess its a run what ya brung deal, I'll run my stocker against whatever, and take what I can get, lol You never know what anybody has untill you see them run. Other than the obvious... cubs and well you know! I hate that bullshit like they do on pinks, if you're wanting to run a person you run what you have, no bike lenths, no bragging rights there. In haspin Im not sure whats going to do any good hooking up there, about 3-4 inches of pure dust.

JasonsBanshee
Has anyone talked to Haspin about this race? Keep in mind, this track is open to anyone and anyone can race unless someone contacts Haspin to see if we can reserve the track. I've heard that Haspin will want a cut of the money if we are racing for money. Best bet is to call them and explain it all. Otherwise it may not go as you're planning. sheerider1026
yea, the problem is that other people that have paid to ride are going to want access to the drag strip (which is totally understandable.. maybe we can have every other race to ourselves?? or just race with the guys and pretend that they aren't there??? we will need someone at the end of the track to write down the winner each time because it is very dusty and will be hard to see who won.. I have called and e-mailed Haspin multiple times, with no response. So, I dont know on that aspect. I will be the one down at the end writing down the winners though. Maybe someone else can try and contact them? Maybe they will have better luck.

dragbanshee
Im not sure how long that strip is but we're going to have to shorten enough to keep from getting anybody hurt. That track is deadly at the end, need to be 75-100 ft shy of the end because of the washout trenches, or should I say ditches. Anyone know the length? I agree but I've heard they can be like that. Just make sure you clear it with them first. I'd just hate to see this not go as we're planning. I agree with you, the end is a mess but we should be okay if we stick with 300 feet. The problems are more like 450-500 feet out. But Haspin changes daily so we really won't know till we get there.
