Come on guys, you really didn't think he actually had a mechanic did you? Blaster 2006 and "my mechanic" are really one dude! With the multiple personalities it makes it easy to blame your better half, this way the spotlight stays focused on the bad guy, "Blaster 2006"..... Please let "my mechanic" surface so we can put this madness to rest. J/K

Sorry, the  made me do it!

hehe no, hes a really nice guy, he even comes over to my house, hes an arab mechanic who has no degree in anything, he isnt too rich he lives in a village, and he grew up fixing quads, and he actually used to work as a mechanic, the only thing he told me that was stupid was something about that the TORS system is actually good and i should not remove it, and he tells me if i remove the TORS the throttle cable will be very hard to pull and tire your hand.

other than that i learned alot from him, i learned how to completely take out the carbs off the quad (i was scared to before) and how to put the slides in correctly, how to change needles etc, most he taught me about carbs and jetting, aswell as removing reeds.

and when he is going to replace his crank bearings on his KX 250 ( very soon) hes gonna call me over and im gonna see how he does it.. he said hes gonna split the case etc, and if he gets that done.. you guys better take back everythign you said (ill post pics for the non beleivers)

he also changed my clutch... and adjusted it works great.. he did it in 15 mins, removed the kicker off, brake , footpegs etc, cover, changed clutch all in 15 mins.

and as for the carbs, we did fix them, and we synched them visually, as i dont have a synch tool yet.

when we do the things on my quad and we talk about getting a timing plate and getting it bored etc, eveything i tell him that "the internet" tells me he says dont listen to them etc bla bla he thinks all the advise you give me is stupid.. i forgot what things i was told to do here i told him that and he laughed... the same way how he laughed at how when i told him the TORS is useless, he said "dont listen to them"

so yeah.. anyway.. :P

What a dumb ass. Youve been a member for like what? two months you dumb arab faggit. Go back to doin you stupid ass donuts like in your 2nd grade youtube video. Do some research before you post you limp dick faggit. What a dumb shit.

What a fucking retard. im not even arab, i just live here you ingnorant dick. although im not a redneck hillbilly like you probably are. so just shut the fuck up if you have nothing good to say and piss off, i have a mechanic to help me do things, and i ask questions here to learn about the things he does not know, and you are talking trash on a post where im trying to help people choose oil you dumb retard, go look at all thish dumb bullshit you are talking about on the post i made. which is supposed to help people.

just stfu better ok?

plus, when i say mechanic, that does NOT mean what you are thinking. the mechanic you have in the US are completely different.

all the mechanics here are cheap indian laborers who only know how to fix cars, not people who are specialized in quads, and the "mechanic" i have, is arab and has no degree, i just call him that because hes not a friend of mine he just helps me get things done on my quad so i call him a mechanic, thats the reason why i ask questions here cause if i had an american mechanic, that would be different cause he would know everything i would ask instead of asking it here

blaster2006, you're really wasting your breath with this topic. I can't beleive that you're defending your oil to the point that people don't like you now. It's not worth it, to argue this "fact". Nobody gives a fuck about what oil YOU think is best for everyone else's transmissions. Get over it. You use your oil, and we'll use whatever the hell we want to use. None of us have had problems with any of the oils that we use, so we're going to keep using them.

P.S. I don't give a shit if I have to change my ATF every 2-5 rides. I like it so much because of the fact that it's so thin. Viscosity really doesn't matter, since the transmission slings oil everywhere inside the cases anyways, and there's oiling baths inside the cases, to catch the oil and drain it back onto the gears. Thicker oil robs your engine of efficiency.

Are you fucking mentally challenged? Because if that post made it sound to you like I was pushing amsoil then you were dropped on your fucking head as a child. All I did was make a joke and let everyone know what I would be running...............Dickhead.

make a stupid reply and you can expect a stupid response. you can call me anything you want and use all the profanity you feel you need to justify your bs but you said it best...

LMAO Post count don't mean shit I have over 500 and have owned a shee for less than 2 months.

call me a dickhead, thats fine... at least i'm not a guy who's owned my shee for 2 months and thinks i've been around the block enough to know it all just because i can start my bike by myself...

blaster, while the thought of your post is appreciated most guys on here are past the "moving up from a blaster" stage and have plenty of experiance with oils and have already figured out what works and what does'nt. your heart is in the right place but most of us have already gone through all the downfalls that go with running sub-standard oils and therefore know what works for our set up. thank you for the info anyway.

as for your builder and what he has to say about the advice you get from the experianced people on this site, i know alot of the people here have very fast bikes and do alot of the work themselves. alot of the guys on here can tear a banshee down and re-assemble it in there sleep, they can troubleshoot many problems over the internet (which is a very difficult task when you dont have a bike in front of you) and generaly just have alot of knowledge you cant find anywhere else.

so i guess i have to ask, is your mechanic capable of doing these things? does your mechanic even own a banshee?

if the answer to these questions is no then rather than coming on here stating how your mechanic said these guys were wrong and questioning the information you recieve from the people here maybe you should start looking more closely at your mechanics credentials. from the sounds of it he's the one you should be questioning instead of everyone here...

if 500 people on the internet say "yes, do it" and your mechanic is the only one saying "no dont" then i'd have to question his opinion...

i understand your kind of stuck with what you have available but when you come on here telling everyone your mechanic say's everyone on here is wrong, then you make it sound like your actualy questioning the people here trying to help you out it doesnt give the people here much incentive to keep giving you advice...

Wow seriously guys no need to get this worked up. It's just oil. Just to add my 2 cents worth i am new to the quad world and expecially banshees and appreciate the original post as i had no idea what to run just what the local shithead mechanic told me which of course is $12 a quart. I enjoy reading what everybody runs and how it performs based on their performance level. I now have a few much cheaper options to look at running. P.S. you guys bitch more than my fucking wife.
