I just bought my 2002 banshee yesterday and i wanted to ride it. I had my brother mix up some oil and gas for the banshee. Well i go rip it down the street and come back and park it. I looked down to see a motor oil container. It was my fault i didnt tell him to use two stroke oil. Now i have motor oil mixed with gas in my banshee. My buddy told me to get new spark plugs and clean the cylinders and all that stuff. I just wanna know if it is going to damage my banshee. And i only took it down the street one time and parked it. What do i do?

I have no idea of long term damage. Maybe do a compression test. But it looks to me all you can do is drain the tank and get the right gas and oil mix in it and see how it runs. My guess is you have not done any damage.

Just drain the tank and do some mixin the right way. You don't have to clean your cylinders, you didn't screw it up by any means if you weren't riding it long but a quick blip with some gas already in those bowls from before. Your buddy is a retard still, and I wouldn't ever let anybody other than my close friends that own banshees mix any fuel up for me IMO.

yea your shits probably fine, just put the right shit in it and let it run to burn out the 4poke oil. and smack the shit out of whoever did that. banshee motors are durable as hell, i sucked up a shitload of water in mine, more than once, pull the plugs put it on its handlebars, burn the plugs with a lighter, put em back in and starts right up. check compression when i got home and its been fine each time.

your fine. the oil depending on what viscocity is actually going to be thicker than premix. meaning all it did was rob a little power, but you will get it back with premix. just drain your tank and pull out the drain screw on your carbs. and go get some new gas, wash the can out with gas and throw in some premix.

ps. dont listen to your friend anymore.

josh your an idiot, and im only saying this because i live with you. lol i told him the only problem that i could see from coming from this is fowling up his plugs and maybe just clogging his jets. i recommended using some carb cleaner and changing the plugs. ill be returning home on wed and ill make sure youll get the right mixture.

heres a picture of his new shee, get-attachmentaspx.jpg
