Neutral down tranny

yep, a modded shift star should help you.. i also grind down the spring on the detent arm to make it a wee bit weaker.. my trail bike shifts great.. but my cub would never shift under full throttle, so it got a dunable overide.. try getting or cutting the star, it does help.

 

i miss second all the time, what is the mooded shift star is there a forum on it

wen i was little and first learning how to ride. i used to miss 2nd all the time on my KX85. then my dad would say stop pussy shifting it. shift it like a man. it hurt my feelings at first but i hardly ever miss gears ne more. i was like 8 lol :yes:

^^ Yeah but on the shee its not a matter of pussy shifting because I can hammer it upward from first and sometimes when I pop the clutch it just screams and dont go anywhere So I look like an ass till I correct the problem. :biggrin: I will take the shift star out soon and ship it to you. will it have any negative effects?

sounds like you may need to adjust it a little. If you are rolling and you shift it up all the way, it should click in. If your adjustment is off, it may not be letting you get full range out of it.

 

Shift star is easy. It helps to go by a photo the first time though.
