messer007
Ive been debating on buying a set of paddle tires, and Im needing some help. Ive been looking at the 10 paddle Haulers and the 10 paddle Extreme Grip. My question is what is the differences in the two tires, which one works the best. There is only like a $5 differences in the two tires. All info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
donkeypuncher
the extremes are 1/8 inch thicker than the haulers so they dont flex as much. according to skat trak they are for "higher hp machines". the higher the hp the more the paddles flex which means the less they dig. with the added power, the extra 1/8 inch is supposed to help minimize the flex to get maximum bite. does that make sense? Handyman
the extremes have a flatter profile compared to the haulers. The hauler are more roundish..and I think the extremes have a stiffer blade and may be a bit bigger in height
Frogger
Ditto the previous posts. The extremes have a reinforced blade which makes them stiffer. They say a 10pdl Hauler is and 8pdl extreme. Depending on sand, motor, riding, will be the determining factor as which to get. Don't try to over paddle yourself just cause it sounds better. The extremes have kevlar paddles, regular haulers dont. I recommend a set of super light extremes.
