captainhowdie
I picked up this 04 shee, stripped it down to the frame to overhaul everything and do some cleaning. Now im putting everything back together and have done the following mods: Noss head 20cc domes (150 compression in each cyl.) Chariot stator plate @ +4, Fmf Gnarly's, K&n no lid, 280 mains. I do some trail riding but i also want to smoke the 450's at the sand drags. I dont really want to port yet because the top end in fresh, but will definately have it done when its time for a rebuild. Will vf3's and bigger carbs benefit me with no porting? I have some extra cash right now ($300), and would like some input on what to do next. Thanks for your input! I would put the money into suspension or something. You'll see more from the reeds and carbs after it has been ported. But if your going to port eventually then those items wouldn't be wasted. By the same token you'll have to put some money into suspension at some point as well. SP
AKheathen
i would just go with some pedals, or blaster cages with the gnarley's and ridding trail. then, spend the rest on knick-nacking, like sus. clutch, sprockets, lighting, or somewhere else you wanna make it better.
