you mean the dexcool? i wouldnt run it in mine. they had alot of problems with that coolant in cars and trucks. it likes to clog stuff up and make everything a mess causes over heating and shit to. i use 50/50 prestone coolant and have never had a prob.

are you shitting me? i only run dexcool. you cannot mix with conventional, and you have to change it every 5 years, but i've never had a problem concerning any cooling system running it. elc, however, is garbage. if you've ever run dexcool through your fingers, you'd swear it was oil.

if you change dex cool every 5 years like your supposed to it should be ok, but I do believe that dex-cool is alot harder on gaskets, head gaskets in particular. I would stick with conventional anti freeze or engine ice. I store my banshee in a shed when its 40 below and I'm not sure engine ice is up to that kind of temperature so I just stick with the good old green stuff.

WHAT? You're crazy as hell. You have to completely flush the old stuff out before you put in the DexCool. If you don't then yes, it will get sludged.

i had conventional when i got it, and it slushed at 15 below, and ran hot. i was going to try engine ice, but it doesn't go cold enough, so i stuck to what has always worked for me. dexcool transfers heat better than conventional, i know it holds past 60 below from experience, and it was the engine grounds that cause the gaskets to errode, which can happen with anything other than strait water
