Have not heard that. Maybe so. But these are (per the website) shocks that are either "demos from tradeshows, barely ridden internal test units, discontinued products or refurbished items from our professional racers. Each and everyone has been tested, verified and confirmed to be in full working condition."

I just ordered a Zero Preload kit for the stock banshee shock from them. $80 for spring and valving to rider weight!! Can't beat that. Hope it works well.

so whats the deal with that kit? do you send the shock in to them to set it up for you? thinkin about spendin the $80 myself.

Nope, It's just a spring and valving kit for your weight, set-up and ride style. You still have to buy a seal head ($30), fluid ($5), and have someone rebuild your shock ($60). I have been doing my own lately, just gotta pay another guy to charge 'em. so for me...GREAT DEAL!! Think about it... A spring $100, Goldvalve $125. $80 sounds way better than $225!
