Woody 350
Can someone tell me if there is a big difference between the V Force 2 and V Force 3 reeds. I have a friend that will sell me a slightly used V Force 2 set for $100. Are the 3's worth $100 more?

Building my First
According to the guy I have do my boring, V 2's are better for a ported engine just like Toomey T-5's, V-3's and Toomey t-6's are better suited for a stock ported machine. shanYE west
No difference in cages from what I found, as long as the intakes are matched to the stuffers. Some prefer the 2's because they use a square opening compared to the 3's round opening wich is harder to find intakes that match.. depending on your mods.. the VF might be a over kill and you probably wont notice any difference going to the VF over a good set of reeds on the stock cages. The Chariot reed cages are a good choice on the smaller motors.

Justintoxicated
No its not worth the $100 price difference, just make sure the screws are tight on the V-force 2s and DONT threadlock them.
