Scrap2000
I ordered the Trinity 2 into 1 carb kit. The sales rep I talked to said for what I have done 33mm carb would be fine. Well he sent me a 35mm carb he said that he " hooked me up " incase i start tuning on it I'll already have 35's. My Shee is recently rebuilt stock stroke bored .020" over. Toomey T-5 pipes K&N filter with airbox no snorkel the lid has a k&n filter built in. Thats about it...do you guys think a single 35mm carb will be alright? Snopczynski
If your gonna run the single carb, then yes the 35mm is what would probably work the best.

NickisGod
i want one of these setups, but i need a honest opinion. are they worth losing a carb over? it make sence to me why one would be better because then everything would be consintrated, but then again what about strength in numbers? i wanna hear some truth about these, not what people herd or read. im sick of all the people who comment on these setups without ever owning or using one themselves. fasstbanshee
when my motor was stock crank/bore i had put a trinity 2 into 1 34mm on it and i was a big difference from those small stock carbs, it's not going to be huge for drag racing so much as it will improve lower to mid rpm torque..... great for trail riding. good luck

dezoffroader
I work at a Yamaha shop in Pasadena Ca, and three of my customers have done the single carb kit, all three with the 35mm carb. All three swear by this set up, but all three are just casual play riders, NOT drag guys.
sredish
You damn kids need to learn how to use the search.Search result I'm lovin those charts snope. what compression or what domes were you running on those charts? Snopczynski
I'm lovin those charts snope. what compression or what domes were you running on those charts? 20cc domes at about 160 psi compression with the single pipe and single carb. I run 18cc domes at 185 psi compression with twin pipes and twin carbs now. I have a port job with a very slightly raised exhaust port, so the compression numbers will vary from a stock motor with the same size domes. Snopczynski
good to know. where you running race with the 20cc domes? you had the timing pretty advanced at that stage as well, right? Nope, at 160 psi compression with +4 timing you can run 92 octane fuel. With my dyna installed I had to run 1 gallon of 110 octane mixed in. At 185 psi compression I run the dyna and +4 timing with straight 110 octane. It can also depend on your pipes and porting as to how high the bike revs and if you will get detonation. I have a low rpm set of pipes, so I could actually probably get away with 50/50 race gas right now.

I remember always running 7 degrees adv. on mine and it seemed like it was quite a bit more responsive but it's all vague in my head right now.
