Building my First
I got a good deal on some PWK's, they were suposed to be 35's. Just got them in the mail and they are 39mm! I know how to measure, they are 39mm inside bore on the engine side. I am putting me engine together soon: -.060 over Wiseco Pro-Lites -The cylinders were already ported, had to get them cleaned up. They are aggresive trail/ dune port. -Cool Head w/ 19 or 20 cc domes, I don't know yet. -V Force II Reeds, I might try some Carbon Tech Reeds, hear they are good -Pro Circuit Platinum Pipes, although I hear CPI is the way to go. -I have an adjustable timing plate, not sure if I should mess with that. Do you guy think I could run the 39's? I do have a Vito's +4 crank that needs to be rebuilt, but I am not a big fan of Vito's so I will probably use the new oem crank I have. I need some help with a few decisions.

rubberneck
With a trail/dune port and procircuits, i am thinking you are going to want 33s. My guess is it would be a kick ass motor with 28s. I think 39s are too much for you. I run 39s on my cub and am not sure if I would be better off with 35's
88bansheebitch
39s are way big for them mods
Tedder
Maybe we should talk about a trade. I've got a real nice pair of gas 35 PWK Air Strikers with billet bowls and intakes. We ran them on our asphalt bike until switching to alcohol. PM me if interested.
05.Banshee.SE
Set your timing to +4 when you get that head and domes on, that's the most common "best running setting."
locogato11283
i would trade them off for some 33's or 35's.
Building my First
Hopefully Tedder will get back to me so we can work something out. I didn't realize how Scottish ( me Engine ) sounds!
Snopczynski
35mm-39mm is too big for the pro circuits. The pipes wont pull a high enough rpm to benefit from a carb that big.
