AKheathen
if you run them in between the reed and jugg, you will lose power, but it is an unnoticible gain on the carb side of the reeds. usually only run them to clear the clutch lever. they add one more sealing surface to worry about. spurdy
Hey i just bought a set of 3/8" reed spacers on ebay and was wondering how much they actually help performance thanks. I've run them on both sides and didn't notice any difference in either case. No dyno results to show slight increase or decrease though. I use them with my 35 PWKs to clear the clutch actuator. Snopczynski
Hey i just bought a set of 3/8" reed spacers on ebay and was wondering how much they actually help performance thanks. What else is done to your motor?
werner
I never noticed any difference, I ran them on the carb side just to get clearance with 28pwks off of the clutch acuator arm, not for performance gain

Snopczynski
You will see a small maybe 1/2 hp gain in midrange power, and lose probably about 1.2-1.5 hp off the top end by running them.
