dajogejr
The motor is a Banshee 525cc big bore that cost $9k to build. With a 7 millimeter crank, 68 millimeter Cheetah Cub cylinder, V-Force reeds valve system, 68 millimeter carbs and Cool heads. It has 1 through 5 speed trans with overdrive and a Alky lock-up clutch. The Fuel mix is 31 to 1 alcohal! You guys totally missed the point. He's not running Alcohol....he's running ALCOHAL at 31:1. Not 30:1 or 32:1...but 31:1.... 525cc out of 7 mil crank and 68mm pistons....maybe those 68mm carbs add displacement.... Oh well...it's good for a laugh... shee4speed
why would he be running B9 plugs?
dajogejr
why would he be running B9 plugs? B9 plugs are what most of the alky guys run, myself included. B9ES @ .018 to .020.
shogs
Couldn't you do most of that for around 8k? Maybe not all the pretty chrome and plastics but still. If its in front it doesn't matter how cool it looks.

njbanshee
Definitly not his bike. He really doesn't know what is what, but i bet that bike hauls ass.
dajogejr
It's a cleanly done and nice looking bike. I'm quite sure it runs well... His choice of specs are funny...that's all... For some guy that doesn't know any better, that all looks great. Any of us that are somewhat heavy into the sport, it's just a laugh.... I don't think he's trying to maliciously misinterpret what he has...he just don't know. It's not like it's stock with pipes and he's claiming it does 120MPH, verified by his neighbor's Vespa.... Nice positive post D! By the way, were you having issues with the 8 heat range plugs? Can't say we have needed the 9s here on alky. Which series are you running? dajogejr
We've always ran 9s on alky bikes. Never tried 8s....and to be honest, never had the need to. I run a B9ES. I run the non-resistor plugs because I run a Nology Setup with Hotwires. The wires have resistors built into them, and the instructions (yes, I read them...) say not to run Resistor plus. That being said, I got stuck and borrowed a set of BR plugs from a buddy at the track and didn't notice a lick of difference. But...I buy B9s when I purchase them for my bike...
