330 R killer
I FUCKED UP I JUST POSTED UNDER IMAGES...Ok here is my Question. I hooked up my old Nos kit from my street bike to my shee, The shot is going to be a 20 shot, What should my timing be at? -5?? or is that to much? Has anyone on here ever run nos a shee? i have run nos on my srteet bikes for years with no problem at all, can somone help me with the timing.. Thanks
THE358BANSH
A good start on a juiced motor is to pull 2 degrees per 50hp sprayed. That is normally what I start with and then add timing and take away fuel from there. Just remember, lean is mean... Evan

Evan Ok so my timing is at plus 5 right now, so your saying with a 20 shot i should start at -2 on my timing?
sleeper06
Im assuming your using a fogger system, not the most tunable set up dapending on where your spraying,If your spraying before the air cleaner into the intake charge my buddy changed nothing,+4 timing ,same jets bikes been running for 2 years although i dont recommend it ,it works well.I prefer a wet shot due to theres no guessing on jetting.Personally if your gonna fog it richen up a size or two,put her at stock timing, check the plugs for color add timing from there

Evan Whoa that is horrible advise and you will surely end up with a melted piston!!!!!! Back when my bike was on the hose I would retard timing 1.5* per 10hp sprayed. So with a 20 shot you would retard 3*......... That is the formula I always follwed and I sprayed as large as a 70 shot............... This is from personal experience, on a banshee.........................
250Rho
banshees are different then cars, therefore id stick with alcoholbanshee. different engenes different principals,i personaly wouldnt run spray on a engine its like a cheap hooker, leaves you burned up with a feeling of emptyness. jus my .
sleeper06
Ive never sprayed my shee just letting u know theres definitally people just throwing nitrous on and running it for shits and giggles. We are not concerned with blowing shit up,his bike needed a rebuild before he was hitting it

Rods going thru cases...........Nothing left of the piston but a molten blob in the pipe.......ya know bad stuff.......... Definetly more than just a rebuild.....LOL...... THE358BANSH
If your bottle pressure is at 900 psi, your flowing pressure is at 4-5 psi, and you have a 22/26 jet in the fogger I will guarantee the motor will be safe. A 22/26 jet should put you at a 18 or 20 shot. The motor should have absolutely no problems running at these specs. alcoholbanshee, just because you do not choose to run your stuff on the edge, where it makes most power, please do not discredit me by throwing out such an ignorant statment. If you tuneup is right, those are some great specs to start with. I have used them on everything from my Banshee to a 2200hp ProMod motor that I built for a customer. Evan Me not run on the edge.....you quite obviously have no idea who you are talking to. And for you to give somebody info that is most certainly on the edge, is........how did you put it......ignorant. That is cartainly not a happy place for him to start. Now can he work his way there in baby steps???? Possible, but he certainly should not start there. I have been running stuff, and tuning stuff on nitrous before it was cool to run on "NOS"...... Hell I remember the first time I showed up at a drag strip with the bottle.....people thought we were nuts, then they were calling the shop on monday wanting their bikes setup...............You may know stuff about 2200hp Promod engines....but you certainly dont know jack about shee engines.......
