Michael Jackson
No offense, but you asked.... A bone stock 700 rappy should spank you in a drag with your mods. Worse yet with a pipe. you always say this, but everything ive seen and done would tell me a piped banshee is faster than a stock raptgor 700 anyday.. i ride with one all the time, and on it, its no tuning issue, the pipe and fuel controller def made it faster but hes still neck and neck with piped banshees

Actually the first one I raced was right off the floor, and the motor wasn't broken in, and he blew it right there....funny part was, the truck had the shop's name on the side...and he had a buddy and two chicks with him...I think he took it out without his work knowing. Wait wait wait...there was one at the asphalt 1/8th...I think it was stock, but might have had the computer/fuel thing done...that one took me by about .7 seconds, but that's when I was just piped. mason07shee
my buddy has an 07 special edition with looney tuned dual exhaust and a programmer and on pavement we ran and all i had was pipes. it was close but i pulled him every run by 1 bike

I wasnt gonna respond to his comment but now i feel the urge hahah Im not a expert by far as Ive been out the game for a while racing streebikes but got me a house in the country and decided I needed a toy to play with.... yes I know its not the fastest banshee, I mean cmon the thing isnt even ported, in due time...along the a 4mill crank! I ran against 2 ported banshees both with v3's toomey etc and i beat them, not once but probally 10 times, were they shitty riders? i wouldnt say that.... and I like your honesty but I have ran with several raptors and none even came close....the 660's r a joke and even if u got the money to make em fast they are not gonna last......the 700's fair a little better but if u can cut a good holeshot its bye bye cry yo ass off baby need a bib????.... and thats honesty. It might not be modded to hell but I can ride. and when i do get it like a want game over...lol.... especially to the crowd around here.... Your banshee isn't ported but you've raced two that are and you've beat them over and over (10 times). A. The porting isn't for shit. B. They can't ride for shit. C. They weight 300 lbs, you weigh 150. D. They have bald tires, you don't. Anyone that went from a stock port shee to a decent ported shee will tell you it's 100% night and day difference...not even close. So for you to beat so called ported banshees over and over again....there's something else wrong. 660 Raptors are a joke...the 700s are damn near neck and neck with the 450s. Are you beating all the 450s with your piped stock port banshee? Guys...I realize this is a banshee site, and I'm just as gungho about them as anyone if not moreso. I guess you guys just have slower Raptor 700s over there, or we have slower banshees over here.... Bansh-eman
Anyone that thinks a 660 is a joke either doesnt know what they are alking about or clearly under estimates that motor! The fastest 4 stroke aside from full blown 450's with nos and goodies in glamis last year that I saw was a older raptor 660 on a stock frame with a longer swinger. The dude was straight up eating other four strokes, all kinds of banshees, and 250r's. To just simply say that they wont last is a foolish thing to say. dajogejr
660's are a joke compared to a 700 in stock vs. stock trim....or even just pipes to just piped. Like anything else...the more $$ you dump into them...the faster they go....
dragbanshee
The 700s I ride with are no joke! and strictly bolt ons. They give me one hell of a run, actually I done some shifting mods and going back out to try em again. Even one of the 450s having problems with the 700 and the 450 is built. I took the 700 & 450r the 1st couple times but started having shifting troubles, and was neck n neck with the yfz. I have every bolt on there is for performance, no porting, but she screams! Snopczynski
I raced a raptor 700 down at winchester and he beat me by about 1.5 bike lengths a few times. When we stopped, he said it was dynoed at 70hp. Now I dont believe that for one minute, cause a buddy of mine has one with 80hp. That bike beats me in a drag race by about 8 lengths. I think this other dude with the 700 at Winchester is probably more around 60 hp.
Michael Jackson
660's are a joke compared to a 700 in stock vs. stock trim....or even just pipes to just piped. Like anything else...the more $$ you dump into them...the faster they go.... disagree 100% - a piped 660 and a piped 700 .. there isnt much difference other than ergonomics, the 700 runs a little harder on top end, but as far as low end torque i think the 660 is right with it, ive raced on both, vs both, and i really dont see or feel a big difference
dajogejr
Aside from the fact it's fuel injected....right? You've raced both....have you rode both?
mason07shee
opinions....... everyone has opinions and have raced on different surfaces, different types of parts on both bikes, with different results its all a guessing game. i said i would win a race on pavement by one length he has looneytuned exhaust and programmer maxed out, i had t6's and jetting and airbox vents lol. put us on gravel, grass or any other surface and it could be another story
locogato11283
i have yet to see a 660 or a 700 run worth a shit. they are a fuckin joke at the hillclimbs i know that much. i ran a bunch of them in the sand on my 450(exhaust, cam mod, intake) and i never once got close to being beat.. then again i am a way above average rider. im sure those bikes run hard, once you dump an assload of money into them.. otherwise, im not impressed. i really hate to compare 4 strokes to banshees. there are entirely too many variables that come into play. tires, tire pressure, rider weight, rider ability, riding terrain etc.. the list could go on forever. its really impossible to even compare the two until all variables are the same for both. Michael Jackson
Aside from the fact it's fuel injected....right? You've raced both....have you rode both? they arnt fuel injected get real i meant i raced both meaning rode a 660 while riding with a 700 or viceversa, i think they both run great with just pipes on them, 700 feels like it has more top end than the 660, but than again that could have been gearing, pipes , tuning, tire size, or anything else i guess, but i think they are dam close with just poiipes
