Do these really work?

Liquid filled is what you'd want, just like those. All the vibration/jolts....a normal temp gauge won't last on an off road driven vehicle like a banshee, etc.

 

I've been thinkin' of putting one on mine because I run methanol on the ice/winter. Take a while for the motor to get some heat...that's a helluva lot better indicator than feeling the pipes and cylinder sides/head.

i put my balls on my pipes.. if they burn on impact, its ready to go.. if not, i give it a few and try again. :biggrin:

 

 

that guage looks nice. id run one, if i thought i really needed one.

You should try putting a raptor's thermostat in line, on your upper radiator hose. Since all you do is drag race it isnt like you have to worry about over heating. It should make your banshee come up to operating temp faster.
