Wha carbs should I go with

Recommended Posts

I was thinking about going with 35mm PWK. What do you think?

Here's what I'll have when I'm finished building my motor.

4mil long rod

Hillshooter port, case match port

Noss head

CPI inframe

V force 3

+4 timing

I am going to go ahead and buy my carbs or at least start looking and need to decide on what to go with.

The BEST person to ask is the one doing the porting. I say you cant go wrong with 33-35PWKs.

I would talk to your guy that did your port work. Depending on how your port work was done bigger carbs may not improve on your bike at all. I know i will get lots of people disagreeing with me here but i have seen this on a dyno. The way my 4 mill is ported bigger carbs show no preformance increase at all on the dyno and actually have a little slower throttle response. Check with your port guy and see what he has tested and he will tell you what is the best size carb for your bike. If you just want carbs for the easy jetting then i understand that but dont throw money away if you dont need it.

Your bike looks awesome in your sig man!!!!!!!

Funny, we are roughly doing the same mods at the same time...I think that happened last time too, lol.

Builder knows best, but 35s should be perfect. Can't go wrong there.
