rajaa11
Eh, no big deal. How long are you and fastrthnu going to be down? I could even sneak in a stock pistons rebuild for now, get it running how it was, and do my other stuff later. I'm going to have to start allocating more money for my upped plans now anyways, so it could be a while. If you guys are going to be heading out regularly, sometime soon, I'll try and sneak a quick rebuild in before I send her out. I could even wait even longer and do a Cheetah kit too. I'd be at least 2-3 weeks out anyways though, even on a stock pistons rebuild. I've had a shoulder injury for going on almost 3 weeks now too, so if I end up needing torn ligament surgery or something, it would be a no go... Could just be a torn muscle or something, in which case it should clear up sooner. Lmk how long you guys will both be down for though. If we can all get back riding together, then I'll push as hard as I can to get it at least running within spec, and I can save money for now and do my big plans later (getting all that done is probably a 4-5 months out). I haven't talked to Fastrthnu for a while, so I don't know where he stands with his bike. Man me and the guy with the ltr 400 been riding every week end, we riding this week end coming up. My bike runs fine it's just I have to take the filters off cover with my hand start the bike put the filters back on and its fine for the rest of the day....I just talk to fastrthnu, I have to pick up a crossover tube from him tomorrow, he sending his jugs out to get bored out, I think 3 weeks to a month for him..... rajaa11
Dude, them pilots are to big. try the 27.5 2 turns out on the air screws. I think mine where still 25, but you should be good with 27.5.Sounds like you have a leak somewhere or a clog. them 350 mains make that bitch scream huh  I shouldnt be down much longer. A few more weeks Ill be done. Im going to mail my jugies to passion for bore/hone/chamfer, and pistons. I seen on their website its all under $300 and he did the porting on em anyways. Speak of the devil, yeah dude thanks for the 350's man that bitch runs hard, I have some pilots coming tomorrow so I will try those. I be glad when you and 05.banshee.SE get back up and running, that guy mike with the 400 gets his ass handed to him on the daily and know with those 28's it's a shame.... He doesn't want to play any more....... Yo you still wanting that 2 to 1?
05.Banshee.SE
Alright. I should be back working this week, and I'll ship my jugs out to get 'em prettied back up for some new pistons and shit on the ASAP. I'll save my stroker plans for the summer when it gets wet out. I'll have everything squared away by then. How long have you been ported rajaa? I think you can take me now, fuck! I'm the slow one, lol. The bike was always ported, it's was setup with too much bottom end, I couldn't keep it on the ground. The bike had no top end at all, Those paul turners really choke the motor a lot, so I just added some upgrades like adjustable timing plate, did away with that 2 to 1 setup and went to 28's, took those paul turner mids off and went to T5's. Now it's perfect, great bottom end and smack your momma top end. Me and you are definitely heading back to the line homie
fastrthnu
I dunno if that 35mm single will be big enough. Ill check into it, but Id rather that cos these big ass carbs and filters are to close to my pipes and I want to make a mud shroud and a single filter will be easier to cover. Id like to use the 2-1 with a 38mm. I think imma do some tricks with my exaust and run some tm-34 flatslides or somthin. some 30`s would be nice other than the monster I have. these things look like fuckn 40mm`s. The 2 to 1 is a great setup, very easy to take on and off but your going to lose a shit load of top end, now that I have the 28's I don't know if I want to go back to the 2 to 1 ever, You might be right about that not being big enough I forgot your motor is crazy fast. Well just let me know..... Edited January 20, 2009 by rajaa11
05.Banshee.SE
You should have no problem taking me with my current setup. You should be about 10psi higher on compression (even on me with a fresh rebuild), and your porting should allow you to pull hard on me. Her Juggz will be hooking it up though...6 months from now I'll be shooting the moon. Hopefully sooner. Fastrthnu - On the top end rebuild, you just send the jugs? Oh, good deal, I didn't know they did that, I thought they just took your whole motor. Hell, that's even better. Thanks for the info, that's probably what I'll end up doing. rajaa11
Well I put the 27.5 pilot jets in and still will not start :: I can't figure this out. I'm going to try to put 25's in tomorrow. Only thing I can think of is the choke plunger that will not stay out by it's self  Edited January 22, 2009 by rajaa11
wacko2000
I am by No means a jetting expert, But im like 100% sure that a 25pilot is going to be to small for a ported shee with pods. I would throw a 30 in there and try adjusting the air screws. Maybe some of the jetting experts here will chime in and help you out. Having to take you pods off all the time has got to be a pain in the ass. That would drive me loco. :: :: ::

05.Banshee.SE
If you're changing jets frequently, then you must be taking your carbs apart often. Everything looks alright in them? Check the boots too for tears I guess. What have you done recently to it?

Check the boots too for tears I guess. What have you done recently to it? Well I just put the 25's in and still the same problem, I cleaned every part of the carb put new air screw in with all new o-rings, cleaned the choke plunger and put new o-rings on that to. One thing that was different it took awhile and I had to pull the choke when the motor was warm so I might need to go the other way and make the pilot screw richer
