dragbanshee
yea, that is a good idea on sending a spare set of juggs off for porting... i have been debating on doing a 4 mill setup on the trail bike.. but after building the other bike im all tapped out for a while. plus my better half mite kill me as well. lol.. i would love to get a HJR 4 mill though.. who are you gonna get to do your porting?? and what type of portwork?? yea, im nosey as hell . lmao HJR for sure! Im not sure yet on the porting, I'll prolly talk to Kevin about that. I dont think I want to get a full drag port.
sheerider1026
dont get a full drag port, then it will be halfway useless like my cub motor.. it will make trail riding not impossible, but a big pain in the ass, there are other ways to get good "usable" power from those juggs.. you should go with a 4 mill with a aggressive trail port.. then you can spank ass anywhere you go.. JasonsBanshee
Got my tires on, seat cover on, new grill in. Hardware store tomorrow for some bolts and hopefully Brown makes a stop at the house. I should be in business. I wanna wheelie up some hills. Then I'm all about the draggin. I'll do it all day too as long as I'm not getting my ass handed to me real bad. Once you get beat by 5-6 bikes it's kinda like what's the point. Unless you like the taste of sand. I'm not real crazy about it. I thought I saw JasonsBanshee had a 4 mil in it. He's got CPIs too. Should run pretty good. I don't have my 4 mil done yet. I'm still putting parts together to build it. I wish I had it done for the trip.

RollinRhino
After four days they can't predict it. If you look at the predictions it is the same on the extended for next weekend. We'll know by Thursday what is what.

pittss1c
It seems that modern forecasts are a function of a prediction and the historical average. Much more then 5 or 6 days out, the average (about 45 degrees and some probability of precip for March 7) dominates the forecast. Unless they are pretty confident that the jetstream will be in a position that will change the weather significantly.

dave5.0
well,, does anyone have a set for sale??? i have had 2 fulls sets of sand tires, but i sold them thinking i would never ride sand.... now im kicking myself in the ass.. so if anyone has a set for sale.. let me know.. i gotta try it out.. LOL.. are you tryin to talk me into bringing the cub dave?? haha.. lol I just sold a cheap set of paddles. 60.00 shipped. Not quite enough for your cub but still better than knobbies. I'm going to bring a set of 10 paddle haulers, but will probably run my 4snows. They are alot better for the pea gravel/sand mix over there. They are alot cheaper and you don't have to worry about tearing them up either. I've even trail rode them a little the last time me and my son went over there. Worked out ok and you can still wheely in the round river rock. Hard to do that with knobbies.
RollinRhino
Speaking of sales......anyone got any works shocks or Mikuni 260 jets for sale.....I'll buy them this up coming weekend if you show up with them and a price that is reasonable. and 500 bucks is not reasonable unless they new in the box and have remote reservoirs. If you want to part with a set hit me up with what you got.
