JasonsBanshee
I dont know.....but is ANYONE game to go up friday morning and ride.....split a hotel and ride all day saturday? If not, does anyone wanna split a hotel on saturday night and ride sunday too? I would but since we'll have an open trailer I am not risking staying in a hotel. There are too many thiefs and if you go on Badland's forums on their site there are stories of quads coming up missing from local hotels there. If I had an enclosed trailer or the place we stay had a garage then I would love to. I'm hoping to be able to camp. If we get lucky and get a warm spell then I'll be camping.... blackedout96
Weather.com says only 30% chance of rain and 46 degrees.... 10 days away, lets hope that holds! I'm game for driving up Friday but depends on what everyone else in my group wants to do. I'd way rather do that then drive up @ 4am Saturday! RollinRhino
I have been checking the weather reports for next weekend and I have seen three different predictions. A person could earn a doctorate in meteorology if they can guess Midwest weather a week in advance. It is is raining bad I don't know if I'll go, but if it isn't and only cold that won't stop me. Snow wouldn't stop me either.
dragbanshee
Snow would just make it more fun, but if its raining or good chance of it, I'll be saving my fuel for another time.
run
I dont think it's going to rain.....overcast at worst! THIS TRIP is going down!! As far as my shee, I will chain/bolt it to the pole outside my room (if we stay at a hotel) and I'll put my brake dissc alarm on it too. If it goes off, someone is gettn tased. pittss1c
I don't mind water/mud in the summer, but my shee hates it. I can't go through 8 inches of water. I think the chain gets wet and flings it right into my left carb. (the outerwear gets clogged with dirt and water) I wonder if anyone has constructed a shield for this.
