bansheejoel
I just put some +2+1 arms on my shee last night. The arms are not bent and are mint. My right wheel (if your in front of the shee looking at it) hangs out farther past the front fenders than the left wheel. Is this normal or is my frame bent? in this pic judge off of the nerf bars, you can clearly see the right side is farther out. (left wheel if your sitting on it) here is another pic

peterlocal22
i think your fine bro looks can be deceiving, i know i was thinking the same thing when i put my a ams on also when i put my axle on it looked off but it wasnt
dragbanshee
Your wheels look fine with your fenders, its mainly the nerfs thats throwing you off. My nerfs looked like they were off on my bike, it use to bug the shit out of me. I really think its the different manufactures of the nerfs depending on how even they are. I know most of you realize the banshee has a offset in the lower frame between the a-arms and the pegs, that may affect the way some of the nerfs look.
T_Shee
i can see what your talking about a little. i wouldnt stress over it tho. just ride it and see what it feels like. im guessing since you say the arms are straight then its always been this way you just now realized it so it wont be a big deal. in the 2nd pic if you run your mouse straight up from the inside edge of each tire to the fender you can see the difference. nothing major tho
bansheejoel
i did like 4 different measurements from different parts of the frame to the arms and they are exactly the same on both sides. Even if the arms were bent which there not, i think that would make them sit more forward or backward not in or out because its not like you can compact or stretch 1" steel lol. It wierd as hell, everything is the same but it looks like one side hangs out more
bansheejoel
alright guys i got it all figured out. I got the nerfs used and the right side (looking at pics) was messed up so i had to mount the front about 1 1/2" in farther than the other side. Besides for that the right front fender was bent up a little so i put some weight on that to get it level with the other one and its perfect....tie rods were a little off also. So that makes me feel better than my frame isnt fucked...thanks guys
shee4speed
in the future, you can always stand the bike on the grab bar and view the frame from that angle and see if its tweaked at all.Glad shes all good.
dragbanshee
I noticed the one side was way back, couldn't figure out how that could happen. Some just bolt up different I guess. Then again, how could that have been back that far with it being bolted to the peg?
bansheejoel
I noticed the one side was way back, couldn't figure out how that could happen. Some just bolt up different I guess. Then again, how could that have been back that far with it being bolted to the peg? im confused lol. Are you asking how my nerf is bolted farther back when its bolted to my peg? I have the old school ac nerfs with the pegs built in, you take off your pegs and a tube bolts on there and the nerf slids over the tube. I just pushed the nerf in more which took up all the slop and flexed the aluminum a little bit so i could mount it in a different spot
