lokisbuddy
I was wondering if anyone can post a pic of their banshee and or blaster with the desert storm paddle tires? also any videos of the roost they shoot? I need a tire that looks awesome and sprays roost. sorry if this is in the wrong place but i am mainly asking here because i am worried about looks. lokisbuddy
I have to start somewhere right? and if i am going to the dunes i might as well get paddles and why get something that dont look good when i am trying to make an effort to enhance the looks of my shee? I am not made of money so when i buy parts they have to be on a need to buy basis you know? Oh and I just bought it. i havebt even picked it up yet. SandRageShee
from my experience with the desert storms are they are heavy without rims to me.. i picked em up all the time at ATV CYCLE SPORTS. they would most likely make a stock bike bog. if you still want to have style and look good and throw roost and not kill a stock bike. your probably going to need to go with an 8 paddle hauler or extreme.. i went with some Turbo paddles. they are basically haulers but not buffed. and they last a pretty goood while. lokisbuddy
I guess a sand paddle isnt neccesary I just want to be able to have fun in the sand with my shee when i pick it up but looks are definitely important as well as durability as i am on a very tight budget. I went in the sand with the blasty alot on razrs but will the shee just sit and spin or will it hook up like this? http://s169.photobucket.com/albums/u221/lo...icture038-1.flv http://s169.photobucket.com/albums/u221/lo...=Picture037.flv I just want to have as much fun on the shee as i did on the blaster
SandRageShee
i have razrs on my banshee and i ride in mostly rocky sand and it spins and spins until you hit like 3rd then it starts to get going... when i just hit pure sand i put my turbo's on.. and i roost like hell and whoop up on ppl..of course im not stock.. .. my brother has innova's on his rears and he spins then it grabs.. lokisbuddy
so I should definitely lose the razrs? I usually ride on hard pack but i do go through sand often. I just dont want a tire that i cannot use on hard pack to get to the sand thanks for the info.
dave5.0
so I should definitely lose the razrs? I usually ride on hard pack but i do go through sand often. I just dont want a tire that i cannot use on hard pack to get to the sand thanks for the info. I wouldn't lose the razors. I've been looking for a long time for a tire that would work well in the sand and hard pack. I haven't found anything that does both well. Like the other guy was saying with those tires you were looking at, dual purpose stuff that will hold up is going to be heavy in the sand. The best sand tires I have found end up being the light ones. If you've never ran a set of paddles in the sand once you do you'll figure out a way to get past the hard pack to get to the sand with the paddles on. It's that much more fun. You might try a set of v blade type paddles for what you are doing. I have a nice set of Pro Circuits I can set you up with for that new Banshee of yours. You'd have to lose the shorts though. They make nice scarrs onyour legs with shorts.
