brian
I'm running the clear braided hose that you can buy at home depot or lowes. It's cheap, but it does look badass ! No problems yet. Have not run it in any really hot temps tho.

The clear hoses from Home Depot aren't a great solution. They are not really designed to run in the right temp. rang so when they get hot they will get soft, which causes the clamps not to hold them on very well. A better deal is not get some industrial food service grade hose from Grainger, MSC, Mcmaster Carr, etc.............. They are the same price as Home Depot and they are the proper hose for the job. AMEN!!! Many months ago I asked about using the Lowes hose and no one could give me an answer so I went ahead and got some, dyed it with Rid cloth dye and hooked her up. After doing heat cycles, I was a little leery about how soft they got, but other than that it held up fine. Well I decided to give her one last heat cycle. I was bent down checking my coil and POP goes the upper hose from the head. HOT fluids went all over my face and arm. Luckily it wasn
