05.Banshee.SE
Like running houses on solar the gov't should fund every house to run on solar power helps environment and people... Already do. Buildings can qualifiy for different levels of LEED (green building) certifications, and get cash back at the end of the year. However, it's expensive as hell to do...there are buildings that have it, but it's more of "to come in the future" type thing right now. ...Qualify for tax rebates, zoning allowances and other incentives in hundreds of cities. http://www.usgbc.org/DisplayPage.aspx?CMSPageID=

#1JUANstunna
Yamaha Banshee Is this a 2010 model? Just found it, it's a different cloor scheme then the 09 Canada model. I can't find a model year any where on the page. Maybe I'm just tired and missed it.
ned
nah thats an 09 august they usually come out. im like 90% sure there will be a 2010. although, banshee sales have slowed right down. but im sure there is surpluss left over they make a new colour scheme for and flog as 2010's heres something interesting. the 09 banshee has recieved some mecheanical changes which is pretty rare. one is the front shocks are now 5 way preload adjustable and they also have a nifty little feature on the rear brake that engages the clutch when brakes are pressed. R. Rollins
Hey ned; Just curious; Have you got one of those new Banshees? If you do it would be nice if one of our Aussie Buds would get some tracing paper and trace those decals for us to try and reproduce in a slightly modified way of course. BansheeJohn
Skidoo has been dumping money into 2 stroke technology for years. The E-tec motor is the most advanced 2 stroke out. Better gas milage then the four pokes and more power. The emision standards are even better then almost every other 4 stoke too. I have never seen legislation for the ban on 2 strokes but wouldn't be surprised. If more of us regular guys don't get involved with our government then we have nothing to bitch about. bansheerage
technically... the banshee motor was taken out of the motorcycles and put in a quad... sssoo ya.. same with the DT motor... that wasp ut in the blaster, ever notice the lower radiator hose on a blaster? so if u think the banshee motor technology is only 23 years old.... think again that kind of technology has been around for 40+ years.. here's my 72.. look familiar? sweet engine there. does she go like a banshee engine. Is it a 350?

The new E-tec 2-stroke oil injected motors are actually claiming to be able to run for 1000 miles on a tank of oil. i believe there tank holds approximately .75 gallons. As far as making 1000 miles im not sure.....but i have seen my friends new E-tec with 600miles on it and just under 1/3 of a tank of oil left......from what the dealer put in. Its gettin kinda wild with the oil consumption these days....or lack of oil consumption....haha
