Engine stand

I was in the shop tonight cleaning cases to start an engine build it came to me to build something to hold the bottom case during assembly. So here is my idea just a flat plate 1/4 material with holes drilled in it to mount to the bottom engine struts holes and the oil drain plug I had to make 7/8 spacers to go between the case and the plate where it mounts to the strut holes. Welded another piece of 1/4 plate on the bottom to clamp it in my vice. I held the plate back so you can get to all of the bolts on the bottom.

So what is everyone else using if anything. I'm tired of chasing a motor around the work bench.

Thanks

Tim

I'll take pic's tomorrow (it's late)
