Looking for a swingarm to race flat track with, and input from guys who have ran shorty's as far as good or bad experiences.....

Ive been running a -2 on my banshee for a while now.

I would say its much more important on a banshee than a 450. It makes it much easyer to get hooked up. -3 was a bit much

I feel that in flattrack the rear suspension is less important as it is on say a motorcross. I run stock linkage with a cut down 250r dogbone with stock shock. As long as your rear shock is good the stock lowered suspension seems to fair well.

The front is much more important, a good set of shocks and swaybar are very important. then some wide a-arms.

i run a minus 2 and love it. i dont ride flat track but when compared to my stock arm it really grabs and with the wheels right under your body, hang on because the front will shoot right up, lol.

i would highly recomend the minus 2.

as for the minus 3 i dont know never ran one but it seems alittle much. esp. if you have nerf bars because they will def. be rubbing the rear tires, but i would imagine you flat track guys just run pegs? so maybe it would work, like i said never ran a minus 3.

good luck and let us know what you get

I already have a nice set of +2 a arms, and it has PEP triple rates on it, I just moved the circlip up to lower the bike, but with no pre-load, I definately need a swaybar! I have the swaybar from when I raced my blaster years ago, thought about cutting it up and modding it to fit my shee..
