yamaha11
wondering if i should 4mm dune port my cylinders or just stock stroke dune port. i want to send them to herr juggs. the only reason i ask is because i have a 4mm passion port and its more of a drag port than a dune and i have another motor with a stock stroke and i could use that motor with a dune port and leave my passion motor all together. will there be a big difference in power from a 4mm to a stock stroke . thanks

X2 I had plenty of questions and problems (on my end, not his work) He answered them all and was great to work with and the bike runs better now than ever

bansheefreak
my 4mm passion dune port will lug around like a thumper with shearers... can you explain the dune port is like a drag port????
blanco25
My stock stroke dune port smashes on 4mm all day long. Ive even taken r1 streetbike powered bikes down. Beaten up on some cubs to. It all in the tuning. stay on top of your bike and kevin will show you how to do it, you could out run big bore, stocked out bikes that are't tuned perfectly. Its all a big equation. best thing to do is talk to kevin. Dude has all the knowledge and patience to go over everything with you. Hjr all the way.

locogato11283
passion is JUNK dogg. bottom line. out of 10 guys who have their motors maybe 2 run right. get rid of that crap and do a 4mm setup from kevin. you will be a lot happier. locogato11283
. i have a hard time keeping my passion motor in the power band and duning it kinda sucks ass its probably because a lot of his motors have been known to have a dead spot in the midrange. i had a motor that had one too.. i ditched that junk. banshee332
Not saying Your guys passion motors dident run well, But Jim has built me 5 motors so far and all of them ran very strong and all the ones he has up this way are strong runners as well. I can assure there is no dead spot in the motors I have run of his.
RUDEDAWG
I just installed a 4mm dune port from HJR., New 115mm long rod crank, dune/hill shoot port job and new 795 series pistons and stroker domes. Everything was bought from Kevin and all the tolerances were absolutely perfect just like he said they would be. Props to Kevin @ HJR! I can't wait till I break her in and see how she rips! FASTOYS
Anyone can port a motor and it will run its azz off on top end. Hell, i can have Loco port one and it will run better than stock. We are dealing with several more cases lately with motors from other builders not having any bottom end. Sounds like some of you may want to do more research! Have you talked with Passion to see if he can help you out or trade you out ??
