All 3 tests had the same porting, shaved flywheel, +4 degree advanced timing, same fuel octane, wiseco pistons, stock cdi, stock coil, and same squish bands. Testing was done on two different dynos, so hp and torque numbers from dyno to dyno cannot be compared. Your gonna have to rely on what the power curves look like. Then decide which combo would have made a power curve that looked like the charts in question.

I choose the Pro circuit pipes with dual 28mm mikuni flatslides, vf3 reeds, and 19cc domes for chart 3 because of the curve still having a "true" powerband per se. The domes and reeds are definately going to help the midrange, but at around 6750 rpm, when the motor starts to scavenge itself those mikunis really help it pull out the top.

I chose the Pro circuit pipes with single 35mm pwk, vf3 reeds and 19cc domes for chart 2 because of the main reasons stated above, except for the fact that the motor has an extremely constant pull from the bottom to the top. I think it would probably be my bike of choice just for the fact, it's easier to put the power to the ground without that huge power spike, and I try to use different rpms to my advantage and that torque curve just screams I want to be ridden.

I chose the dynoport 2 into 1 pipe with single 35mm pwk, carbon tech low reeds, and 20cc domes as chart one mainly because Im not the familar with the Dynoport. The 20cc domes aren't helping in the midrange, but the power delivery is smooth and gradual. I believe the Dynoport was marketed alone the same lines as the 2:1 carb kit(I don't know for sure though), and the curve looks like you could ride it all day and not have your arms feel like jello. Kind of a left field guess for me in the end. Evan

I chose chart 1 as the dynoport + single carb because it appears to be a strong midrange torque with good overrev on the top end .................... I chose chart 2 as the procircuit with dual carbs cuz it appears to have strong low end power from the pipes , but the top end looks like it pulls very hard ( possibly from the extra flow of dual carbs ) and chart 3 I picked the procircuit w/ single carb again low end power appears to be strong , but the ramping up of the hp looks slow (like its corked up )

When its over I will explain how the bike runs compared to how you see things on the chart. So dyno graph readings compared to seat of the pants readings.

I was wondering if you adjusted the air/fuel ratio properly for each setup.

Too many times people just swap parts, make runs (not saying you did...just saying)

Yup, we did. Each one of those setus was probably ran about 10 times and jetted.

ok, i voted chart 1 as pro-circuts and mikuni carbs because of the appearant flow:power correlation that i might expect from a lower velocity setup

i chose chart 2 as the dynoport and pwk because of the smoother climb from low to mid, and good holding from lower mid to high with the drop-off a little sooner.

ichose chart 3 as the pwk and pro-circuts because of the choppy low end, but they really begin to work together between 6500 and 7000, holding strong and steady on the torque, with the hp steadily climbing like it shoud and holding a bit longer at the top. i think the higher velocity carb helps push the pipe on the low end, and the pipe begins to match restriction of the 35 on the top, preventing the peaky overrev.

what i would like to see is the dynoport and dual mikuni's, as wellas some partial throttle curves, where power jups and dropps really show their ugly face

Ok, good. Lets get some more, I want a lot of poll votes like 30 shown results before I am gonna disclose the runs.

You got 26 votes isn't that close enough haha, I'm curious to see what it actually was... when you give us what they were you should post the charts again and give an explaination
