if you running pods filters it might be getting back into the carb..do you have the rubber gasket around the stator cover?if not that also may be a problem.

im gonna have to check that cause someone told me to check the rubber gasket to so ill check that but it could be a little puddle of water and soon as i zoom threw it it starts acting up at one time the throttle got stuck scary

If your throttle got stuck then you are getting water into your carbs. If you have an open air filter you need to go back to the stock type air box or stay out of the water.

it is not deep puddles im talking about and its the bottom of it that gets wet

u say its not much water .... if u have pods i would stay outa the water ....anyways check for any bare wires or anything that could b getting wet ...if there is any wires that a bare they could b working as a kill switch when they get wet killing you spark .... i had this happen b4... got stuck in a field for like a half/hour till i figure it out

Be Careful, sucking water into the carbs and into the motor can cause bad things. Water doesn't compress so you can bend rods real quickly. Also Having the cold water hit the intake side of a pistons can cause cracks and failure as well (I've had it happen to me).

Does the motor struggle to run? Does it sputter and you can't get it to rev worth crap? If so it sounds to me that you are sucking water into the carbs.

If this is the case, shut the motor down right away (don't try to keep it running, that's where the damage will really o-cure) , pull the plugs and drain the cylinders (tip the bike on the side) and let them dry out.

it could be when u hit the water it splashes up onto the tors wires and crosses the circut activating the tors system till the water droplet dries up away from the two wires then it starts running better cuz the circuit is no longer compleated and the tors system is no longer activated

thanks every one for the info yeah ur right when i hit the puddles it does bogg an acts like it doesnt wanna start and if it does start you could hold it full throttle and all it does is spudder it doesnt rev or nothing it just stays on but wit no rev it only happens when i hit the puddles so i deffently stay out off anything bigger then a puddle i think it take in water from somewere just dont know where

That sounds like a small vacuum leak to me. If your being nice and takin it semi-easy through some puddles, the moisture in the air concentrated around the engine compartment can do enough to make it cut out, die, or sometimes nothing at all. I say this especially if you throttle is trying to wander around on you with out actually sticking. But at the same time I could very well be electrical or pod filter related. If your wiring looks good, you don't think the filters are letting water in, clean the bike up and closely inspect all your base gaskets and intake gaskets then check your torque on your cylinders. Or hell, just run it and take a squirt bottle to the bases and see if the bike struggles to run when you spray them. Hope it helps you!

the tors wires act in on or of. nothing in between. if this were to happen, it would just cut out. check thew plug wires for chaffing, and use some tune-up grease on the caps. (silicone- dielectric grease) that is the intended purpose of the grease. check for air leaks, check the gasket around the stator cover, and run an air box, probably wont need the lid

also, are you running good outerwears?
