what gas/oil ratio

baack

Recommended Posts

Some on here run 3.2 oz to a gallon but some others run 4 to a gallon. Either way is okay just know that when you richen it up on fuel you sometimes have to rejet it. 8 oz to a gallon and I bet that thing smokes a bit!

ya it does i am going to try and run 32:1 this weekend

I got my first banshee and I need help as I still don't know how you guys are getting the ratio down. I bought the plastic measuring cup with different ratios all around it. Bought a quart of yamalube 2 stoke & I see on the cup that for 32:1 on the 2 1/2 gallon set do I put the oil up to the line twice for a 5 gallon gug, and if so does that mean I still have about half the bottle of oil left. Sorry for being so lame but this quad is all I do to just hang on to it and I don't want to mess it up. Thanks.

Maybe he said something about beating 450s, or he thought boring a motor .100 over made it a 450, I don't know...I've seen others claim to have a 370 with a .020 over piston kit.

Regardless...32:1 is a good ratio, sythetic or conventional.

Find a ratio you are going to run year round...and then jet the bike accordingly. Do NOT change your premix ratio to compensate for temp changes, etc. Jet around the fuel, don't fuel around the jet.
