boneyardbanshee.
+2 +1 arms. I know this has been gone over a hundred times. Wicked Vs Fullflight. I know Fullflight has had problems in the past with heims. Are they any better now? Also they look to be more adjustable however I think that would cause more room for failure and I dont think I will need that much adjustability. I live in PA so there is some rough terrain and high brush/ect. They have a built on skid gusset where as the Wickeds dont. I also think I remember someone saying they used Armadillo guards on their Wickeds? Both are on sale right now so now would be a good time to get them just wanted some opinions/feedback. Also... I am running stock shocks for now but plan on getting a set of Works come spring/summer. I ride mostly trails, but on occasion hit up some small to meidium jumps. I know the Works will be fine, this is reffering to the arms. Thanks for any help.
Michael Jackson
fullflight makes a couple different kinds, some are cheap and plain steel , the more expensive ones are chromoly and they also have a couple different options as far as heim joints go too, the chromoly heims are more expensive too im not sure how someone would fit amradillo +2 skid plates on a set of wicket arms, wickeds bottom arm is rounded and armadillos are square/boxy, heres a pic of mine for reference *notice the missing mount on the front, i hit a big rock 3rd gear WOT at the bottom of a hillclimb, if it hadnt been for the skid plate that wraps around the front, id have a big ass dent and gouge in the pcoat and be pissed as hell thanks to that damn PA terrain, gota love it though Edited December 17, 2008 by Michael Jackson
boneyardbanshee.
definatlly going chromoly, but I need to figure out a way to protet them from the rough stuff. I ride hard and ya never know how ballsy I will be on any given day. I dont know....maybe I can fab up some guards myself. I like the way the Wickeds are built (all but the open bottom). I just know I am gonna get hung up alot with them. Anyone have guards on either sets?
