So 5.0 your switching over to a hillshooter dune drag setup?

i have a 4mm 12 passion with 35mm carbs and cpis and im at 76hp on the dyno on race gas and its jetted right on the money. i just put a lockup and and a duneable in it but have not ran it yet so we will see. mine runs good but it is not a arm ripper but it can be a hand full with a 4 over swinger and 10 paddles.

That's about where I'd like to be. I don't want to run a decent set of paddles because the poor excuse for sand we have out here eats them up. I've been running 4 snows. I know I'm giving up out of the hole but it seems to help out on top. I'm running mine with the stock swinger. If I get it right I can carry the front wheels through second, shift , and half way through 3rd. They bite fairly well.

No not switching anything but go fast parts. I like the setup of the bike now. Nice and wide. I'm less prone to falling off that way. Don't have many hills to shoot up out here in shitsville. There's some at the Badlands in Indiana but nothing worth changing my bike setup for.

Getting rid of the pro circuits and switching to those other pipes is gonna kill of your low end power.

You need a set of super lights, thats good paddle with light weight.

Isn't all the riding you do in nice soft sand? One place I go has ok sand. The other place you have to ride through pea gravel and golf ball size rocks. The 4-snows work pretty good in that stuff to. And they are cheap. I think I'd cry when I ripped the paddles off of a 300.00 set of tires.

I ride nice sand, but I have had them out at beverly dunes which is gravel sand and hard pack rock.

That's a little hard on them isn't it? I've got a set of almost new Sand Stars. Don't like them. Too heavy and they will beat you to death. I do have a set of 12 paddle Haulers (I think) for my little sand rail. I thought about trying them but I think they are 25" or something crazy like that.

If it helps you any... I really doubt the 137hp number. Especially on stock cylinders, unless its a 10mil or something crazy. My 612cc Twister Cylinder, big block made 152hp at the rear wheels in oregon and that's freakin nuts. Garuntee you that no stock cylinder bike will make the power or torque that my 612 does.

I think I'm there with your opinion. I've been e-mailing this guy on and off for the last few days. He just offered to give me names and numbers of people he has done work for. He says there will be bikes that hea has built at the place where I go riding. I'll have to check it out this spring and see if they spank me.
