Ok.. Easiest way to describe the difference between a tuner and and rice boy..

Both are imports however one is actually modded and built for speed and handling.. Mods include things such as exhaust, turbo's, intercoolers, suspension componets for better handling, brakes ect..

Rice boys make the cars LOOK fast but usually have very little performance upgrades.. Their mods usually include body kits, spoilers, led washer squirters, exhaust TIP, cut coil springs, stickers...

That is so much the TRUTH it's not even funny, ok yeah it is but it's true. I hate when a ricer is next to me they sound like hammered dog shit.

 

My buddy has a RX7 with TONS of motor mods and suspension mods. Thing hauls the mail.

 

Another friend of mine has a honda hatchback that sits in his garage with about 10k worth of stuff done to the motor which also hauls the mail.

 

I wish i had some pictures i'll try to locate some, maybe they have some on there myspace.

lol yea i do hate those hood scoops... came with the truck..

Yeah i just read it and A LOT are just stupid, or actual things that are good for all cars, but done wrong by ricers.

these two cars my friends are grea examples of tuners!! both are very nice cars.

 

And here's my buddy's old Skyline GTR, now that's a monster! 2.6L inline 6 twin turbo Right hand drive from japan, AWD, rear wheels would steer up to about 7* also if I remember correctly. the ultimate tuner if you ask me.

nice cars man, cant imagine wreckin a z 2 weeks after buyin it. i would be heart broken :sad: . atleast you got a sti :woot:, those cars are wicked.

 

yeah the rents coed my loan 4 a grduation pres... then bam i hit black ice i was so pissed i lost my voice bc i was just standing there in the dark cursing up a storm. then i walked up to the house buy the rail i went thru and pole i hit and call my rents and a tow truck and that was the end of that can i didnt get hurt to bad but got some good meds=)... idk but i deff miss that car it was one of a kind and i think i would rather have the z than the sti..... the z was a chick magnet!!!! and alot nicer but i think the sti is faster.
