AC or PRM 6 pack rack..

I need a 6 pack rack for glamis , I was wondering which would be better/stronger etc....

I like both of them, I will be carrying 2-gallons of gas.

So if anyone has experience with either, please let me know

I have a AC rack. I have no complaints at all, fit is great, looks good.

I don't know.....I got mine used for cheap.

Their both close in comparison but I do know that the prm quality is there and strength, everything I have seen of theirs has been heavy duty. I have had their bumpers and loved em. For the money, and even if they were the same price I'd go with the prm, plus its a little wider I think but not to much, and a better platform.

I have the cargo rack from PRM. That thing is tough. Very well made. Alum. is very wide. Welds are clean and look great.

I had the prm 6pack rack. I bent the shit out of it on a violent wheelie. If your just going to use it in the desert, I would go with whichever is cheaper. I think they are ugly as sin on a banshee though.

Get the edge rack that way when u get to drunk and they ask you what u ride you can look at it and remember just kidding :cool: I like that one better it looks cleaner and better made just my .02

I have an armadillo rack and it looks pretty much the same as those. The problem is that my cooler is almost burned all the way through on both sides from the pipes. I'm not sure I would want a gas can there.just a thought.

I agree, I've had their stuff in the past and currently run their summit bumper and I have no complaints. :thumbsup:

I like the AC one better! PRM does make some damn good desert products though.

Either one will hold up the 2lbs just fine!! I elimitated that 6pack rack & spent an extra $100 on the IMS 4 gal tank! Fill up once & ride forever! :thumbsup:
