brian
As stated before, call Jeff at FAST. If it is a 4mil you need to know if it has been ported for the 4mil and uses recessed domes or if the builder used a base spacer. If they used recessed domes you will need to replace those domes with the correct ones to lower the compression. Better to just run race gas IMO. Also you may be screwed if it is a 4mil with +5mil rods. I believe the 795 series prolites only run up to .060 over. Then you are talking about using Blaster pistons which are a little shorter from the wrist pin to the crown.... needs an entirely different dome cut for correct piston/dome clearance. brian
Yeah, my bad. they do go up to .080. I was trying to get a set that was 66.25mm once and they only go up to 66mm (.080 over).

tapout94
same shit, same cylinder happened to me. for some reason that left side is leaning out. only i had 18 or 19 cc domes... cant remember... anyway, scrap that 2 into 1 intake and go back to the dual carb setup! im still having problems with my left cylinder, and im willing to bet that trinity's CV intake has something to do with it. i mean, i could be wrong... wouldnt be the first time! but i am deffinately going back to the duals. as far as knowing if it is stroked... as brian said before your new shee has either recessed domes or a spacer plate, if not then its stock stroke. i dont know jeff, but all i hear is good about him. i went with Nate Mccoy at www.mccoysperformance.com . i cant tell you the extent of service he offered me! here are some things said about him... http://forums.atvdragracers.com/index.php?showtopic=1786
dudly
i just got off the phone with the guy i bouhgt it from n he said its like destroked or something with a longer rod so it wouldnt need any spacer or recessed domes, is this correct
2strokecook
i just got off the phone with the guy i bouhgt it from n he said its like destroked or something with a longer rod so it wouldnt need any spacer or recessed domes, is this correct If he said it was a longer rod with no spacer and of no cut domes, i would assume he put a long rod crank in it. Which is not stroked, but the rods are longer and the wrist pin position is moved up higher on the pistons, The long rod is so post to help with longivity of the motor, that is the only advantage i have heard of. i Fried a hole on my left piston as well and after tear down have narrowed it to the fly wheel side crank seal. i have some 21 cc domes in a cool head i am goin to try this time. i would def move to atleast 20cc to try and run gas but with a different set up the results may varry.
