vegas banshee Posted December 7, 2008 Report Share Posted December 7, 2008 one of the most respected machanics in vegas who used to work for a factory honda team just told my that k&n filters are just about the worse filter u can run if u ride alot of sand..he said alot of dirt gets past em easily..he even showed me the differance between one and a uni in a lil tester thing ..now i have always ran a uni in my shee but im just throwin out a heads up.. :biggrin: Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Hmmmm.... Maybe a company as large and successful as K&N knows how to make a good filter by now. If you use the oil and outerwear properly nothing is getting in your motor, period. Provided you claen and "Re Charge" like you should Uni's and foams are good to but your killing me with the K & N filter bashing, they could be the best filters made.
