ban99
is there anyway to get rid of the white marks in the blue plastics? If you heat them up with a heat gun it will make a big improvement. Just be carefull not to melt them. It may take a couple of times heating them up and letting them cool down. I'v also done it with a propane torch.

05.Banshee.SE
Does that apply to black also? I have a white scratch mark or something, I have no idea where it came from and it's annoying...and it goes across a decal on my front left fender. Never tried it on black, give it a shot and let us know how it comes out. Don't know what it is about those blue plastics but they are by far the worst for doing that. Do you mean white marks that form when the plastic is weakened? (For example, if you have a black plastic pen and bend it, the bend will turn white/lighten in color.) I don't think my white mark was actually IN the plastic...it looked like it's on the surface, but sure as hell would not wash off.

Try using some wd40 or goof off. Edited December 5, 2008 by ban99
