chevrolet banshee
Any head the uses a prodesign dome, like noss head. i think anything under a 19 or 20mm head you want to run a high octane fuel. it depends on your starting compression. Im not sure about the horse power gain but i think its between 0 and 10. Chevshee
crazycanuck
would 17CC domes raise the CR too much?? my quad has about 15 hrs on it so i should have about 125 130 lbs right?? and do i have to change my jetting for that? thank you for your help Edited November 28, 2008 by crazycanuck
Wildcardracing
I recommend the Noss heads for three reasons: 1) Quality and customer service is second to none 2) Uses stock head studs 3) He is a sponsor of this site, help support those who support us As for your domes, you will want to go with 20cc domes to run pumpgas at your elevation, 19cc to run 100octane and 18cc for 110 octane The peak hp gain is minimal with higher compression, but you will have a substantial increase in low to mid hp/torque. Darthwall
last post sounds about right I am at around 2000 and am running 19cc with 105 and it rips. lots of companies make after market heads but make sure yo know what you are after! I have a vito's hemi head and its great but if I want to go past a 66mm bore you have to upgrade
