Vitos Hemi Head with 17cc Domes

4mm Crank

68mm Bore with trinity porting

Wiesco Pistons

Need help on what size carbs to buy 30/34mm? something else?

I want inframe pipes? cpi? t5's?

What gearing for 300ft sand drag?

 

Bike two:

Stock Head Shaved .020

4mm Crank

65mm Bore with drag porting

wiesco pistons

Stock carbs ok? SHould I go bigger? 28/30mm?

T5's ok?

What gearing for 300ft sand drag?

Thanks man, but I am mainly looking for what size carbs, gears, and pipes on the current setups of motor, no need for changing.

If you are serious about drag racing don't buy T5's for either

one of those.

 

I would go with Shearer inframes and 35/39mm carbs

on bike one. And same pipes with 35mm carbs on bike two.

 

I have not run 300ft drags so I can't help you with gearing.

Maybe someone who really runs 300ft will chime in here.

If not take it to the track and run it. See where you are in the powerband

when you go thru the traps. You'll know from there what to do.

If I had those two bike I would run this setup.

 

Bike one with trinity cub cylinders.

Shearer small bores with PWK35's

 

Bike two with drag ported 4mill stock cylinders. CPI small bores and PWK33's

 

What fun is it to have 2 of the exact same thing? That way you can swap pipes see how each motor reacts to the different exhausts. They are both inframe drag pipes but they do have a little different feel. Both will be 100x better than t5's on both engine builds.
