regalrocket
Who makes the best, and best prices case saver. I had a 200x back in the day, and the chain came off the sprocket and destroyed a case, figure it would be a good idea to have on. Thoughts? RIPPEN
Who makes the best, and best prices case saver. I had a 200x back in the day, and the chain came off the sprocket and destroyed a case, figure it would be a good idea to have on. Thoughts? All I know is the billet almn DG one on my bike failed and possibly caused more damage.. I think if they are used correctly(which in my case was half my problem) then they would be a good investment.. I would just go with one of the plastic jobies.. Like in my case I was runnin a 13T front sprocket and I think that left to much room.. Chain hopped off and sent the CASE SAVER through the top.. Ah well, I got lightend cases out of it-lol.. speed-racer
TM Designworks......expensive, but a truely nice case saver. http://www.tmdesignworks.com/xcart/custome...cat=&page=
2001Stroker
I'm with RIPPEN, get one of those plastic ones. They flex more than the billet ones. They're easier to break, but I'd rather break a $30 piece of plastic than my cases. Those billet ones are less likely to break or flex, and might actually cause more damage than not having one. spurdy
TM Designworks......expensive, but a truely nice case saver. http://www.tmdesignworks.com/xcart/custome...cat=&page=1 Second vote for T.M. DesignWorks. Very nicely supported by the case instead of the bolts that hold it in place like the aluminum ones I've see. SP

dragbanshee
I have the mod quad and as I was installing it I was thinking to myself if my chain breaks or comes off this is going to do more damage than what it would without. I dont like the way it just bolts up with just the 3 little bolts, get the T.M. Design.
jbooker82
Get a TM Desingworks. It is the only way to go. There is a reason why it is the most expensive.

I probably wouldn't have a piece missing out of my top case, if I had that.
