what size should i be running?

Recommended Posts

What size JETS to run I assume? What size jet is in your carb now? Have you looked at your plugs? It sounds like your problem lies in your needle circuit..... And possibly your pilot as well. But I recommend you square away your main jet first so you dont do any harm to the motor. Also you may want to tell us What brand Carb you have.

i just got i ported and it runs real strong in power band but it hesitates in the low to mid range any help is appreciated  :

Was it like this before the build? Are you sure its jetting and not something else? What does the guy doing the porting say?? Always best to ask them as they should know how to set up the motor for their porting. Have you tried the air screws richer/leaner?

Hartsell Racing seems to have done the port job........ Someone should tell this guy about that dude Jeff from FAST, I heard he gives some good follow up input after the porting he does.

hey guys theres no need to bash on him its not becasue of the port its deffintly my jetting because i played with my airscrew and its almost there

its a 36 kehiln and my main jet is 175 and the pilot is a 55 and im 2 and a hlf screws turn out

Who's bashing "him" ?

I didn't see anyone bashing the builder.

Jeff was saying that you should give the builder the opportunity to

help you get it tuned. After all it is his name on the work.

Grim meant that "you" should have let Jeff at FAST do the work.

After he did the work he would bend over backwards to help you get

it tuned.

If your builder will not help you get it tuned then he is only hurting himself.

Service after the sale is very important to most of us.
