XxMeltIcexX
Why dont you do our country a favor and buy an american truck.... You get what you pay for.... If toyotas really do last longer, which I dont think they do, are you really gonna keep it that long? GM all the way, shit even tho I don't like fords, id rather you buy one of those... Saw a few of those on my way to glamis hurtin to get up through the mountains, and the thing looks like it had been lowered in the back 6 inches lol. To be honest, there really isnt at GM that i like. I really like the look of the f-150 but it seems way under powered, the 5.4 is real sluggish, I have driven a few of them. I want another pickup though.. The sierra denali is a beautiful truck, I think its alittle to pretty for what Im gonna do to it.. I like to off-road a bit when we go riding I still have some time to decide, so well see what happens. The New dodge ram looks like a sweet truck and they finally stepped it up with the inside of that bitch..

What kind of problems bc I havent heard that. My friends father has it and loves it, no complaints at all. I test drove it and i was very impressed, I must say it rides very very nice for a pick-up truck.

If your going to buy a new truck get a Real truck, this thing will out last and out run basically any truck out there with the right mods done. runs low 14s in the 1/4 which is fast as hell for a 7,000 pound truck. just my 2 cents. I don't mean to be a douchebag about this, but Toyota has many manufactuing plants all over the US and keeps adding new ones while the big 3 keeps moving everything to Canada and Mexico to get away from the labor laws and unions that are draggin them down. Toyota keeps tons of people employed and aren't begging for money to bail their ass out which the US taxpayer will end up paying for. And to compare the Tundra to anything else but a 1500 or F150 on towing would be like comparing apples to oranges as the Tundra is still nothing more than a 1/4 ton truck. I have a 2002 Tundra and when loaded down with a slide in camper and a loaded down trailer, I can blow away my brothers Chevy 1/4 ton with the same setup. The only way that I would buy an american truck would be for more pulling power, but my tundra gets the job done that I need right now and with ZERO problems since I bought it almost 6 years ago. Personally, I think any truck you buy will last as long as you want it to. Take care of the truck, and the truck should take care of you. If you like the Toyota, and there aren't many repairs about the make and year you are looking for. I say really check out the truck, and go for it. If you like everything about the truck then why the hell not
Dave I.
Your best bet is find a Tundra forums or whatever........there are message forums for everything popular these days. Lots of good information to be had there....Of course 9/10 people will tell you that its the best truck ever because its a forum for that specific truck. Just need to be able to read between the lines and base your purchase on your research. Also, that 9/10 that will say they love it wouldnt tell you if they didnt, no one wants to admit to buying a piece of shit.... I have a 2500HD duramax chevy. I really couldnt ask for a better truck for what I do. But that doesnt mean you need to go buy one because I like it. You see what im getting at.
